<p>The proposed study examined the prevalence of various genetic polymorphisms thought to be involved in opioid abuse among current heroin users. In addition to providing blood samples for genetics analysis, participants completed a number of questionnaires that allowed us to learn detailed information about their current and history of opioid drug use. </p>
