<p>Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) is estimated to occur in at least 1-5% of all children in the USA and is a major public health issue. However, in addition to alcohol, other susceptibility factors, such as maternal or fetal genetic variation, must play a role as not all children prenatally exposed to alcohol are similarly affected. The proposed study will examine the role of genetic susceptibility for FASD. This work will help to inform more effective intervention efforts for this common congenital disorder.<br></p><br><div> </div><p></p>
