<p>The FluOMICS project is to generate predictive models of influenza virus pathogenesis, leveraging previous collaborations that generated global datasets and models that predict the severity of disease caused by three influenza virus strains with different levels of virulence. This case-control study of patients diagnosed with severe and mild influenza virus disease evaluates associations between potential molecular regulators of the host response and determinants of disease outcome. </p>
